Georgina Tyler must now eat her Happy Meals at home after a restraining order was filed against her.
Police in Pickens, Mississippi arrested a woman after she assaulted employees and caused extensive damage to a McDonald’s restaurant because they refused to serve the overweight customer more food. Ten people were hospitalized and nearly 30,000 dollars damage was done to the restaurant.
Police say Georgina “Speck” Tyler, 31, of Danscreek, Mississippi, allegedly tossed a Christmas tree through a window, punched an employee in the face and attempted to kill two others during an hour-long melee. The woman, weighing nearly four hundred pounds, had already eaten six super-sized meals when she was denied further service, triggering the rampage.
According to police reports, Tyler had been eating non-stop for two hours prior to returning to the counter to order more. When the cashier told her that she was shut off, Tyler became argumentative and threatened the cashier.
Witnesses say that the cashier, Thomas Linker, 17, then called Tyler “a disgusting corn-fed sow,” at which point the hungry heifer rolled over the counter and bear-hugged Linker, breaking his eyeglasses and making it difficult for him to breathe.
After fellow employees’ failed attempts to extricate the constricted employee from the clutches of the hungry beast, restaurant manager, Paul Smith, hit Tyler on the head with a Ronald McDonald House fundraising jar, causing her to release the now-blue employee. Tyler then chased after Smith, threatening to “rip his balls off and toss them in the deep fryer.” As Tyler pursued Smith, she slipped on grease and landed on top of the unfortunate fellow, breaking his leg and pinning him to the floor. Tyler proceeded to assault the manager with her fists, pummeling him for some time before employees were able to lure the manatee-sized gal off of him with a box of McNuggets tied to a string.
Employees managed to corner the unemployed mother of seven and tossed food to her until police arrived. When they arrived, the woman had settled down but authorities still had a difficult time arresting her.
Champion Greased Pig Catcher, Mike Kenyatta, helped police subdue and arrest Tyler.
“Imagine trying to lift an uncooperative sea walrus who’s covered in cholesterol-friendly oil,” said Pickens police officer, Jerry Clower. “I’m pretty sure I fucked up my back.”
Police called for the help of local hero Mike Kenyatta. Kenyatta has won the Greased Pig Roundup at the Pickens County Fair for seven straight years. After 30 minutes struggling with the woman, he was finally able to subdue the beast and hogtie her hooves.
“She was a fighter,” said Mike. “Dang thing bit me five times.”
McDonald’s director of public relations, Jerome Tabbot, said that the company stands by the actions of its employees who refuse to feed obese eaters.
“All of our employees are required to be ServSafe-certified, and we stand by any employee’s decision to refuse service if a patron appears to be obese. The ServSafe program teaches employees to look for signs of obesity. Food-stained shirts, onion breath, exposed blubber, cankles, clothing made of stretchable material, chubby cheeks, and belt loosening are all common signs that a patron may be obese.””
Police charged Georgina Tyler with attempted murder, assault, destruction of private property, and public obesity.
Tyler said, “I’ve done nothing wrong. This is everyone else’s fault.”
Tyler said she will be filing lawsuits against McDonald’s, the eight employees, the manager, the grease manufacturer, the Pickens police and fire departments, a man who happened to be walking by the restaurant during the incident, Michael Kenyatta, President Obama, the manufacturer of the decorative holiday tree that she tossed through the window, and a few others, as soon as she thinks of them.

I know from personal experience with a local business in my hometown. I’m a non-overweight person and I was denied service and can never return to a fast food restaurant. I was totally humiliated by the courts and the 3 employees walked out laughing and smiling.

Lol What about when you are 400 plus pounds and having an emergency and the ems crew comes to pick you up in the ambulance. They see how big you are and realize you will be of no assistance to them because you are blue in the face and can’t breathe due to your enormous amount of weight crushing your lungs, slowly suffocating you, and they have to call the fire dept just to pick your ass up and into the ambulance. Then you have to wait at the hospital after the ambulance crew and fire dept unload you for a huge bed because you won’t fit on a normal sized bed, before theycan even start treating you for your breathing issue. God forbid you go into cardiac arrest on the way because there is no way possible for them to try to revive you due to your massive size. The paramedic can’t put a tube in your throat to get you to breath again because your mounds of neck fat makes it impossible. The emts and firefighters can’t do chest compressions well enough because no matter how hard or deep they push they just can’t seem to get through all the layers of lard to your breastbone to try to restart your heart. You wanna know what embarrassing about the worst part of all this? The ems crew, firefighters, and hospital staff having to put vicks salve in their nose holes to block out the smell of your body because you can’t clean your self good enough and your flesh is putrifing yeast infections and rotting flesh. Or your neighbors watching 9 people struggle to put you into the back of the ambulance. Or having the crews wonder if the lift in the ambulance will support your weight as it whines while they push the button and lift it up so the motor on the bed doesn’t burn up. So what’s more “humiliating” to you? Not being served after eating 6 super sized meals or all of what i just described? Don’t try to argue me on this point because I’m speaking from experience as an ems provider and this had happened on 8 different counts with 3 different people in my area.

If she’s too embarrased to go on TV, then just quit eating so much at home, simple, very simple. I personally know several folks like her (employment status, weight, etc.) around here who are busy sucking up all the welfare money they can. The only USEFUL thing they will ever do is to make lots of fertilizer when they expire.
BTW While I eat at Micky D’s and similar fast food places from time to time I do not for one minute believe the the food is really good for you, although, in moderation it probably won’t harm you. Our bodies are, after all, loaded with enzymes. The fact is that NONE of these fast food places are FORCING anyone to eat there. The pigs “slop down” because they want to, that’s why they’re fat.

I had no idea you could use food stamps for places like this until I read the posts here. That I think is wrong. I tell my husband everyday when I see the fast food commercials how wrong I think it is. Every single restaurant is making things bigger and bigger and even bigger to outdo the other company and they wonder why people are obese? They wonder why we have an epidemic of obesity in this country? Gee could it be because one meal at a fast food or other restaurant more than likely has more calories and fat in it that what the ADA calls for in a daily intake. Yes they have healthy alternatives but a lot of people do not take these alternatives. I am in no way skinny but I do my best to watch every last thing I eat. I am appalled to see that these companies keep making things bigger knowing that it will pull customers in and that it contributes to the obesity epidemic of today. It is time we stood up and let these restaurants know enough is enough, create normal healthy size meals and stop over feeding everyone.
I also agree this woman needs anger management and some kind of diet. Yes, I realize some have health issues and this causes them to be overweight but with the amount she had already ate and wanted more and got so violent when she was turned away she obviously has an eating disorder. I feel bad for the employees though I think the name calling might have been out of line but then again who knows what she said to him first.

I work at McDonald’s & I see these fat slobs everyday. They need help before they come in my store. I get paid peanuts to work there now I have to be a therapist? Beginning in January they are installing scales and we will be refusing service to “obese customers” which is listed as a women over 170 & men over 245. Drive thru if they look obese. I will be fearing for my life bc of these types of people going bonkers & taking it out on me…

Posted by Anonymous | December 16, 2014, 8:24 pmI think McDonalds is wrong for not selling to anyone. a person who smokes is hurting themselves yet stores dont discriminate against them and say they wont sell them cigarettes if they smoke too much. Alcohol hurts people greatly, yet i dont see a liquor store saying no to a client who wants to buy alcohol because the person drinks too much. This country is born on freedoms… the rights to say what we want, bear arms, and yes even protest when we want. what McDonalds is doing is discriminating against fat people. I am 240 pounds and am a female… but i occasionally will go to McDonalds for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. I wont anymore..because I wont support a company who feels i’m a lesser person to them, a company who feels they have the right to run my life and decide what i should eat or not eat.and i hope that others feel the same, even though they are not fat.
